Fashion brand ‘Spunk’ launched

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to promote fashion label ‘Spunk’. The brand offers uniquely designed footwear, apparel and accessories and was launched at an event held at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. With the tagline ‘Happy, crazy and energy’, the brand aims to capture the young audiences’ attention.

Increasing number of Bollywood celebrities are either associating themselves with fashion brands or becoming design inspiration for special collections. Ecommerce has created an opportunity for these stars to be the face and inspiration for a clothing collection. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan partnered fashion portal Yepme.com as its brand endorser, his wife Gauri Khan inspired holiday collection for Satya Paul brand. *Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s daughters, one among them, actress herself, Sonam and Rhea Kapoor are the latest in the list to join hands with Shoppers Stop for a clothing label called ‘Rheson’.

Actor Salman Khan is already associated with a popular clothing brand Being Human named after his Being Human Foundation. Even *actress Shraddha Kapoor has joined the list of celebs to get into the fashion world with a line of clothing called ‘Imara’.
