Fastrack’s #DontFakeWithMe campaign to fight against fakes

A brand from the Titan Company targeted at the youth, Fastrack has launched a new campaign, #DontFakeWithMe to fight counterfeit products. As a part of the campaign, the brand developed destruction rooms at some locations in Bangalore, where people were invited to break fake products and were handed over with an original Fastrack product.

The brand has conducted over 80 raids since 2011 across India and realizing that the markets were flooded with fake Fastrack bags claiming to be original decided to create awareness among the consumers who were buying counterfeit products knowingly or unknowingly. With an aim to spread awareness about counterfeiting, an in-house team including product and brand teams conceptualized the campaign #DontFakeWithMe, which would soon also be launched on the social media platforms.

The company plans to double its store count to reach 300 stores by the end of December 2015. It also aims to add more categories of products under its portfolio. Fastrack is also revamping its owned stores into a new retail format. The brand offers products like watches, sunglasses, bags, backpacks, wallets, belts and helmets.
