Gionee India Beach Fashion Week returns to Goa this October

The second edition of Gionee India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW) will be held in Goa this October with over 50 designers confirming their presence. The three-day fashion extravaganza from October 29 to 31, 2015 will focus on beach and resort wear along with collections for brides planning a destination wedding.

Apart from beach and resort wear and a range for destination bride, the second edition will also have a category called 'Made in Goa'. The event would be held in three luxurious five-star destinations. The Candolim Beach will witness a high-fashion activity where the models will sashay down the ramp showcasing high-fashion garments created by over fifty designers from across India including many renowned and popular names from the fashion industry.

Last edition saw, Indian couturiers like Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor, Anupamaa Dayal, Babita Malkani, Komal Sood, James Ferreira, Nachiket Barve, Pria Kataaria Puri, Raakesh Agarvwal, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, among others display their latest designs during the show. Globally acclaimed designer-duo Falguni and Shane Peacock were the grand finale designers, who focused on designs for destination bride. The fashion event also provided an opportunity to the students of Rachana Sansad School of Fashion Design and Technology to showcase their talent, through a joint initiative with Talent House, an online platform where artists from the world of film, fashion, art, photography and music collaborate.
