Global Desi unveils ‘London Calling’ collection

Designer Anita Dongre’s label Global Desi recently launched a new boho chic-meets-sporty luxe styles collection titled London Calling. The designs are inspired from the street styles of London.

The designs display a palette of the season’s best shades like blue, red, purple, pink along with undertones of white and black. The line features bomber jackets, culottes, skirts, dungarees, shrugs, zip up crop tops and an array of comfortable knits and denims. The ‘London Calling’ campaign displaying the designer’s range has been shot on the streets of London, as well as some major tourist destinations of the city such as Tate to Portobello and Hyde Park.

Launched in 2008, the Global Desi is currently available across 71 EBOs and MBOs across the country. The label, which opened its first foreign outlet in Mauritius in 2013, plans to open more doors in other international destinations as well. The brand collection is known for its fusion of Indian prints with rich colours and textures that create an international appeal.
