Grasim launches new collection for Autumn/Winter '15

Men's lifestyle brand Grasim from Grasim Bhiwani Textiles, a part of the Aditya Birla Group, has unveiled its Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear collection 2015. *The new collection consists of casual, formal and semi-formal shirts, casual and formal trousers, jackets and suits.

Fabrics used for the range comprises of 100 percent cotton, Poly viscose, dobby, washed denims, corduroys, tweeds and velvets. Each product, created with delicate fabric blends has intricate detailing and refined colours. Inspired by the palette of a quintessentially Indian winter, a blend of warm shades are combined with subdued tones of smoke green, mauve, cherry-wood, cadet blue, saddle brown, iron oxide, and black. Solid colours in chic designs and tapered fits are the highlight of Grasim’s A/W15 collection.

After announcing aggressive retail expansion plans in Tier II, III cities, last year, the 15 year-old textile brand, ventured into the ready-to-wear segment just three years back, starting from northern region, later foraying into eastern market. Now the plan is to focus its retail expansion in central India, particularly Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Grasim has also partnered American e-commerce major Amazon to retail an exclusive range of men’s apparels, which is not available in physical retail stores.
