India Kids Fashion Week starts in Mumbai tomorrow

India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW) in association with leading fashion online portal, Jabong, will present the third edition of Asia’s largest fashion platform for kids in Mumbai on February 20 and 21 at the Hotel Lalit and in New Delhi from February 28 to March 1, 2015 at The Grand Hotel. After the stupendous success of the past two editions, talented kids will walk the ramp at IKFW for a two-day fashion extravaganza that will take place in Mumbai and New Delhi. One of Asia’s largest kids’ fashion show, IKFW gives a platform to children in the age group 4 to 14 years to walk the ramp sporting creations of ace designers alongside the crème-de-la-crème of the lifestyle industry.

Taking it a notch higher this year, IKFW has associated with Bollywood actress and stylish mother of two, Karisma Kapoor, who will walk the ramp at the grand finale in Delhi. Renowned cricketer Virender Sehwag will also be seen encouraging and walking the ramp with the kids from the Sehwag International School. Keeping with the trend of chic associations, IKFW has also tied up with ‘Jabong’ where they will showcase a host of brands through a fashion show.

The two-day extravaganza this year will feature leading designers like Vikram Phadnis, Ritu Beri and brands like BIBA which is slotted to open the third season with its kids collection in both cities. Designers showcasing their collections in this edition are: O.K.S Boys, U R My Sunshine, NONA, Little Royals, Daughters Dream World, Brown Bows, Pink Cows, My Little Berry, Mimi & Maggi and Sheena, a boutique for kids.

The IKFW, a joint initiative of Event Capital and Craftworld, is an exclusive signature property launched to position India on the map of the kids’ fashion. It is India’s first premier lifestyle platform aimed at promoting young. IKFW 2015 would be a 360 degree event for the kids’ apparel industry, where brands and designers will have an opportunity to establish a presence and reach untapped audience by displaying apparels, accessories and more.
