Latin Quarters (LQ), a premium fashion brand offering women’s apparel, accessories and handbags is ready with its smart range for forthcoming Autumn/Winter season. “Founded in 2006, the brand, since its inception has always strived hard to deliver the best to customers. At LQ, we live and breathe trends. Our contemporary collection offers a wide variety of essential wardrobe staples,” avers Saurabh Jhingan, Director and Co-founder, Latin Quarters.

The company is on an aggressive expansion spree and wishes to take LQ at international destinations. The company’s USP is its rich collection of contemporary elegant and classy styles.

Stylish wardrobe for women

A/W’15 will witness diversified colour palette varying from ivories to the darker hues of blacks, blues and reds. “In addition to viscose dresses, we have many styles in maxi dresses, suede and PU jackets, cozy sweatshirts and glam gowns. Current fashion trends in women’s western wear are crop tops, maxi dresses, jeggings, PU and suede jackets, knitted and bodycon dresses and embellished tops,” explains Jhingan.

LQ emphasises on utilising the best accessories for its line like buttons, zippers and interlinings, while others are used for enhancing the product appearance such as sequins and embroidery. Fabrics in use include viscose blend, bi-shrinkage yarn and poly blend. “As far as extending our product line is concerned, this time, we are focusing on adding more bottoms to our collection. The previous seasons have seen a variety in skirts, jumpsuits, and parachute jackets as hot-sellers of our range,” informs Jhingan.

Giving retail a big push

The brand enjoys good presence in metros and believes the next wave of expansion will come from small towns as the number of women wearing western wear is constantly increasing in these areas. Elaborating on the company’s plans, Jhingan says, “The opportunities of growth in these towns are significant and we expect every major western wear brand to be present in Tier II and III cities in few years. Early movers get an advantage to establish themselves in these cities.”

LQ aims to move to international destinations in future. Currently, it has a nationwide presence through exclusive stores, select department stores and major online platforms including its own web store.
