Celebrating 35 years of being in the business of fashion, Indo-French label Lecoanet Hemant by the designer duo Didier Lecoanet and Hemant Sagar, has launched a daily wear line called 'GENES-Lecoanet Hemant'. The line, celebrates the country's journey in the 21st century.
The first Fall/Winter 2015 range under the new collection titled 'Here and Now', is inspired by India’s tradition as well as rapid developments in technology and society as a whole. The line will be retailed through Amazon.in starting this month and will offer clothes for men, women as well as accessories.
Meanwhile, amid stiff competition from domestic online players such as Flipkart and Snapdeal, India arm of American ecommerce giant Amazon recently launched a Junior's store under the kid's clothing category. The store offers fashion for boys and girls in the age group of seven to 14 years with 3,600 styles from over 50 most sought-after brands.
Keeping the prospects of kids’ wear category in sight after several global brands like Pepe, Pony and The Children’s Place announced their plans of launching their range for kids in India, women’s fashion label Chemistry, launched a line of Chemistry girls exclusively on Amazon.in.
