Madira Bedi to display her sari range at Araaish in Dubai

Actress, TV host and now designer Mandira Bedi is set to showcase her latest ‘Banaras Lumiere’ collection during Araaish exhibition, at The Taj Hotel Dubai. Taking ethnic Indian weaves, Bedi would present Banarasi weaving technique with a modern twist through her saris. Her second collection — Joie de Vivre is a combination of rich colours and geometric patterns.

After her debut appearance at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 with a beautiful feminine sari collection that was a breezy offering on the runway, Bedi has travelled to Kenya, America and other international destinations with her sari range.

Fashion show tour organised by Janta Connection in San Francisco’s newly-opened Glass House Lounge saw her collection inspired by fall colours of autumn and the gray tones of the winter, equally expressed the joy of the holiday season.

The attendees included noted names from the Indian American community. Bedi had earlier presented her collection at the Kenya Fashion Week.
