The evening that kicked off on a joyous note with fun, fashion and entertainment, later focused on the noble cause as the event helped spread awareness and raise funds for ‘Two Cents of Hope’, a non-profit organization focused on providing education to children in India. Attendees donated 5 dollars (about Rs 309) to enter a raffle to win a designer sari donated by Bedi for the cause.
The attendees included noted names from the Indian American community. The platinum sponsor for the event, JabongWorld.com would now feature the entire collection showcased on the runway during the event. After making a debut with her designs at the Lakme Fashion Week in India, for which she got much appreciation from the audiences, Bedi also presented her collection at the Kenya Fashion Week recently.
