Modi kurta becomes the flavour of festive season

The one fashion statement that became famous after Narendra Modi took charge as the Prime Minister of India is – Modi kurta . The ensemble has turned to be a hot fashion trend this Eid. Many youngsters are demanding a pair 'PM kurta '.

As the holy month of Ramzan would end on July 18, people are loosening their purse strings to celebrate the festive fervor. Usually, the most sought after ensemble to celebrate this festival has been embroidered kurta with chikan work on georgette or cotton fabric among men. But retailers are witnessing half-sleeve Modi kurtas made with linen fly off the shelves.

The cost of these kurtas ranges anywhere between Rs 300 and Rs 2,000, depending on the embroidery. Imitating Modi's choice of colour, the kurtas are available in light shades of pink, green, blue and orange, while otherwise, people prefer white kurtas during Eid.
