Moncler bets on footwear collaborations for fall 2026: Clarks, Rick Owens and Moon Boot

Moncler is placing collaborations at the centre of its fall/winter 2026 footwear strategy, bringing together Clarks Originals, Rick Owens and Moon Boot for a series of styles that blend the brand’s mountain heritage with contemporary city dressing. The partnerships form part of a wider collection inspired by the mountains, the metropolis and the routes between them.

The first release, arriving in early September, is the Moncler + Clarks Originals Trailgrip Wallabee GTX. The collaboration reworks Clarks’ recognisable Wallabee in a more technical direction, combining soft khaki or beige suede with a breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex lining. The shoe is finished with Moncler’s Trailgrip Vibram rubber sole, adding grip and comfort for both urban streets and outdoor terrain.

In late November, Moncler will introduce the Trailgrip Megalace created with Rick Owens. The style brings Moncler’s performance-led construction together with Owens’ distinctive avant-garde design language. Padded nylon and leather form the upper, while curved, overlapping panels and a sculptural padded collar create a bold, architectural silhouette. A rear-lacing system pulls the design together at the heel, with the shoe resting on the signature Trailgrip Vibram sole. It will be available in black with beige laces or cloud grey with beige laces.

The third collaboration, the Moon Boot x Moncler Grenoble Icon High Rodeo, was first presented during Moncler Grenoble’s fall/winter 2026 runway show in Aspen. Combining the functionality of a snow boot with the character of a cowboy boot, the design is made from suede with nubuck leather inserts and embroidered detailing. Nappa leather is used for the heel and band, while Chestnut and Caribou colourways reinforce its western-inspired winter appeal. The style is also scheduled to launch in late November.

Alongside these partnerships, Moncler is refreshing its own footwear icons, including the Trailgrip GTX, Trailgrip Lite3 and Trailgrip Apex GTX. New styles such as the Vera Edge, Peak Snowcap and Altive Mid extend the collection into boots designed for cold-weather city life.
