Myntra selects 11 budding designers under MFI program

The Myntra Fashion Incubator (MFI) program initiated by the portal to provide a platform to budding and talented designers, has selected 11 new faces. They will be trained under the first batch of Designer In Residence (DIR) module. Under the DIR module, the company will provide necessary design and work infrastructure, capital support and mentorship from a team of renowned names from the fashion industry. The program schedule would cover essential elements of being in the fashion business like branding, consumer behaviour, product design and development, pricing, inventory planning, retailing and financial planning among others.

The final names under the MFI programme include: Metallurgy by Advaeita Mathur, The Lokal South Kallection by Darshana Sukumar, Ek Karkhana by Preeti Wanchoo, Picnic by Harleen Kaur, ex.pression.ist n by Mohammed Javed Khan, Tortus by Raghav Sethi, ASA by Shreya Oza, The Ink Bucket by Vidhi Khandelwal, Vaishvik by Rajesh Maratha, Anwar Khan by Anwar Khan and MAD on FAD by Priyanka Kumar.

Popular names from the fashion design industry like Wendell Rodricks, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna and Paras Bairoliya to industry officials like Anant Daga, CEO, TCNS Clothing company, Sandeep Mukim, CEO, Proline India, Simeran Bhasin, CMO, Wildcraft were on the panel of jury, who shortlisted the 11 names, in the final stage.
