Peacock-duo presents ‘Runaway Bride’ at IBFW finale

The grand finale designers Shane and Falguni Peacock presented a collection called ‘Runaway Bride’ at the debut edition of Gionee India Beach Fashion week 2015 held in Goa recently. Models sashayed in sleek gowns, embellished crop tops with printed skirts, lehengas, delicately embroidered jackets and dresses in pastel shades of pink, greys, blue, white and aqua green.

The three-day long fashion extravaganza was dedicated to resort, swim, beach and cruise clothing along with a day dedicated to destination bridal wear. Conceptualised and owned by Uvar Global, the event witnessed fashion shows of over 30 designers, more than 50 pop-up shops, foot-tapping live music and three high-end post show parties. The fashion gala was held at Shrem Resorts, Novotel on the Candolim beach.

Indian couturiers like Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor, Anupamaa Dayal, Babita Malkani, Komal Sood, James Ferreira, Nachiket Barve, Pria Kataaria Puri, Raakesh Agarvwal, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, among others displayed their latest designs during the show. The pop-up shops put up during the event enabled the visitors browse through collections on offer and buy the designer wear and accessories.
