Designer Pria Kataria Puri is preparing to host a fashion show in Geneva to celebrate the decade-old existence of ‘Heart for India foundation’ (HFI). She aims to spread awareness among the privileged and encourage them to contribute towards a noble cause.
HFI, founded by Princess Francoise Sturdza, helps in turning orphanages into stable and nurturing homes for children, where they can transform their lives. Puri is the Indian promoter and ambassador of the foundation. Commemorating with its 10th anniversary, HFI is organising an event in November, where Puri plans to invite members of the fashion fraternity and her friends from Dubai, San Francisco and Delhi. Her association with HFI started almost eight years back when she first met Princess Francoise.
Kataria entered into the world of fashion after completing formal training in New Delhi, and from FIDM, San Francisco, where she showcased her first collection of Occidental Evening Wear at the San Francisco Fashion Centre.
