RAAS unveils debut range of men’s designer wear

RAAS, an initiative to promote designer handloom products from Odisha, has unveiled a new range for designer wear for men. The new designer collection on offer includes a wide variety of men’s jackets or waistcoats, shirts and kurtas made from Odisha handlooms.

The product portfolio includes a vintage line of contemporary designer ensembles using Odia weaving techniques like Ikat , Bomkai , Sambalpuri , Pasapalli and others blended with modern day fashion trends. So far, the fashion studio has focused on designer women’s wear. Along with the debut men’s designer range, the new collection also includes anarkali dresses, kurtis , saris, lehengas , stoles, coats, shrugs, quilts and home furnishing products.

The men’s line is created by designers specialized in high fashion garments. Highly skilled weavers from Odisha weave for RAAS to designs given by the Rashmi Mohapatra’s team of designers under the guidance of internationally acclaimed fashion designer Pritam Panda.
