Sabyasachi collaborates with Louboutin for AICW

Amazon India Couture Week 2015 that will kick-off in New Delhi on July 29 will witness a creative collaboration between couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee and French footwear designer Christian Louboutin. The designer's popular red soles, followed by many global celebrities, will adorn the Indian ramp during the Sabyasachi show.

As per FDCI President Sunil Sethi, “Sabyasachi’s collaboration with Christian Louboutin brings to Delhi a bonanza of design expertise and this will be a big treat for fashion connoisseurs in the country.” Meanwhile designer Rohit Bal is preparing to host an off-site show during the Amazon India Couture Week (AICW) 2015. Even International Woolmark Prize (IWP) winner Rahul Mishra is slated to debut with his latest offerings.

“We are excited that Rohit Bal will be presenting his exquisite collection on the ramp at the Amazon India Couture Week 2015. We are also proud to present one of the finest new design talents Rahul Mishra for his maiden showcase at the Couture Week. We are confident that this will further raise the bar of excellence in couture fashion,” said Sunil Sethi, President of Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), in a statement.

India Couture Week, organised by FDCI, the apex fashion body in India will be held from July 29 at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. Ecommerce major Amazon.in has extended its support to this event as well as the title sponsor, along with jewellery brand Sunar, which will be the associate sponsor.

Replacing its long-standing partner sponsor Wills Lifestyle, FDCI had brought American ecommerce giant Amazon’s India arm on board as the title sponsor of its India Fashion Week in February.
