Satya Paul, Gauri Khan team-up for exclusive collection

Renowned designer label Satya Paul has partnered with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan to mark the brand’s 30th anniversary. The star wife-turned-entrepreneur will be the face and creative collaborator for an exclusive collection called ‘A Tropical Wonder’.

Taking inspiration from exotic holidays, the collection explores a variety of prints rendered on casual and occasional wear separates like sheer tunics, flowing kaftans, shift dresses and fluid saris. The range would be unveiled along with its Spring/Summer ’15 line to be retailed across Satya Paul flagship stores in February.

Recently, Disney India’s licensing arm collaborated with the eponymous designer label to launch a line of saris, tunics and scarves with motifs like Mickey and Minnie Mouse and other Disney characters.

A part of Genesis Colors since 2001, Satya Paul's evolution from the first Indian designer sari label to a global brand for international couture is rested upon the intrinsic value, of proactive response to the entire universe it operates in and not just the fashion fraternity.
