Shantanu Goenka unveils debut designs for men

Designer Shantanu Goenka, who for the first time showcased his menswear collection in the capital recently, has now plans of exploring the prospering wedding design market. His debut menswear range is now being retailed through multi-brand store Evoluzione. Goenka has also been creating matching accessories with his ensembles and now plans to developing it further.

His limited line comprises of long and short bandhgalas and waistcoats beautifully textured and ombre dyed in shades of charcoals, amber, burgundy and aqua. The handcrafted pieces having fine thread work and zardozi embroidery are made on order at his studio in Kolkata.

Goenka is popularly known for his exquisite couture ensembles. He showcased the men’s collection at a fashion exposition called 'Fashioning Fairy Tales', which was launched in Kolkata earlier this year and then was brought to New Delhi on August 5, for the first time.
