Tarun Tahiliani to host a show in UAE for a cause

Designer Tarun Tahiliani will host a fashion show displaying his latest fashion collection at a fashion, glamour and lifestyle event organised by UAE-based initiative Sopritti. He is showcasing the designs to support a good cause such as raising awareness about less fortunate children in the UAE. The event will take place in Dubai on September 19.

Tahiliani’s collection is said to be full of textile detailing, Italian pattern cutting and digital textile printing having prêt-a-porter, couture, diffusion, and accessory lines – mirroring a blend of traditional Indian wear with international styles.

This year, over 30 top exhibitors from India and Pakistan will be showcasing luxury clothing, accessories and fine jewellery at the event. Other designers who will be displaying their work at the event include Varun Bahl, Rina Dhaka and Preeti S Kapoor.
