Temperley London, the brand that became popular when Pippa Middleton wore a plunging emerald green gown from its range to the royal reception in 2011, showcased its English Spring/Summer 2015 collection at the Taj Palace in New Delhi recently. The label has entered India through luxury fashion store Kitsch and its e-commerce vertical Rocknshop.com. The launch witnessed a fashion show of the latest designs by British designer Alice Temperley.

The label is best known for its feminine silhouettes. Models sashayed the ramp with flower-laden baskets in gowns and knee-length dresses. Beaded embroidery-adorned delicate dresses and cream-coloured thread work added subtle pattern to a skin-toned gown while floral designs added girly charm to a mesh-layered sheath dress. Showstopper Neha Dhupia donned a beautiful nude-coloured dress with pink English roses embroidered on the collar, teamed with a quilted, shimmering pink kimono and nude booties, presenting the Japanese charm.

The grand brand launch also marked the sixth anniversary of in-house lounge The Blue Bar of the Taj Palace. A host of international celebs, including the Duchess of Cambridge, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson and Kate Beckinsale, have made statements on the red carpet in outfits by Temperley London.
