The 25th Amazon India Fashion Week starts in Delhi today

The 25th edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter, organised by FDCI starts in New Delhi today. Since this is the 25th season, the organisers are not only starting the show on March 25 but there are 25 fashion shows scheduled to take place over the next five days. And it doesn’t end there, even the grand finale will have 25 designers collaborating for the first time to present their designs based on the 'Crafts of India' theme.
With Rajesh Pratap Singh as the opening designer, this edition of the fashion week will also see a special installation, where 63 designers will present their interpretation of a khadi ensemble. Amazon.in will live stream all the shows on their platform apart from hosting several Google hangouts over the next few days with coveted panelists from the fashion industry, including designers, fashion experts, celebrities and models, who would deliberate upon topics like 'lifecycle of a trend', 'fashion for who you are', and so on.
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor will inaugurate the Amazon India lounge at the venue and then be a part of the first hangout, talking about views on fashion in the digital age.
