Ethnic wear brand Triveni has launched a unique campaign, ‘Dare2Drape’. The challenge is based on 7 X 7 (seven drapes, seven saris, seven nominations, seven weeks, seven winning drapes) theme. The competition will start with seven participants who will take up the challenge of draping seven saris in seven different forms. The contestants will then challenge another lot of seven people and this process will continue for the next seven weeks and in the end, seven styles with seven different drapes will be rewarded with exciting gifts.
The first seven contestants participating in this contest include Supriya Himanshu (Lifestyle Journalist), Vishakha Talreja(Founder and Editor of The Hotel Explorer), Diksha Gupta (Assistant Editor at EFY Enterprises), Garima Dutt (Journalist at Zee Media Corporation), Richa K Singh (Executive Vice President- Business Development at Karma Hospitality), Rasalila Dasi (Owner of blog ‘108 ways to wear a sari’) and Kseniia Iarovchyk (NRI-belly dancer).
Speaking about the unique initiative, Arvind Saraf, Director, Triveni said, “Triveni encourages people to experience the vibrancy of ethnic apparel through distinctive engagement. Sari is a single piece of cloth which can be worn in unlimited styles. Keeping in mind the pre-conceived notion about the saris that it can be worn in one particular style only with minimal scope of creativity, we have launched ‘Dare2 Drape’ challenge which will help our customers to try out and give a deeper thought to the wonders it can create.”
Triveni manufacturers saris and Indian ethnic wear. Based on the solid foundation built by its Sakambari Silks Mills since last 30 years, Triveni reaches out to audiences across the globe through its online store.
