Designs for festive season
Since the washed look is in fashion, the brand has played with a lot of washes and effects like carbon wash, spray effect and has introduced cut and sews garments following the international trends.“We believe innovation and styling drives any product whether it is an Apple product, an FMCG product or kids wear. At UFO, we constantly innovate with our products to suit consumer needs. We play with a lot of new innovative fabrics and simple yet fashionable silhouettes,” says Abhishek Agarwal, Director, UFO.
While girls’ tops are largely dominated by silhouettes in rayon fabric, some of them are in asymmetric pattern, peplum and many more. For boys, a lot of washes, and cut and sews are in fashion. In bottoms, chinos, and simple pants with good washes and stitch detailing are in trends, whereas denims have heavy washes and good dry processes like grinding. And as far as jackets are concerned, again printed jackets and reversible jackets are doing well.
Elaborating on the shade card for the season, Agarwal says, “The pallet for kids’ wear is bright vibrant colours like red, yellow and fushia pink. International trends also show the same colours in addition to some earthy colours like olive green and beige. Globally ice wash, heavy stone wash are very popular. We have used a lot of stone wash and heavy enzyme wash with softener.”
